Review ~ JAC Recruitment Agency

 

Since there are more and more new recruitment agency in Malaysia, i am going to review some of them here to keep you update on Malaysia recruitment market.

I am pretty sure some of you have heard about JAC Recruitment Agency before and today i will do a details review on the website feel & usability.

 

 

 

Good stuff.

1. Look & Feel
Overall website look & feel are quite good because of its color combination and appropriate spacing around each column.

2. News/Announcement.
I personally like this section because nowadays, while many companies show their products on homepage, JAC has tried something different by inserting “news/announcement” section on the homepage.

I believed this is to tell jobseekers that they really working hard to find them a job by organizing many activities and events.

Suggestion: It will be much better if they can insert the past event photos in this section to give user a feel about how the event would be.

3. Clear and helpful section.
Usability in JAC recruitment agency website is very good because the section tab on the homepage has really gives user a direction on what they should do next.

E.g, if you are a jobseeker looking for a job, then by selecting the job seeker section on the top tab, it allows you to view list of vacancy that suit you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Good process flow presentation
If you click on the jobseeker section, it shows the entire flow how you will be involved once you have applied job through JAC website.

I like this very much because it gives user the whole idea about how JAC conduct their business to help jobseeker to find a job.

5. Simple registration.
Again, unlike other Recruitment agency website, JAC website is really good because it won’t request you to register until you find a job that suits you.

Suggestion:

1. Homepage image
I know JAC is a MNC company. However, it would be better if they can replace their homepage image which shows foreigner to asian, that would make users feel “closer” to JAC.

Remember, this website is targeting jobseekers from Malaysia or perhaps Asian. Therefore, the idea of “work globally and act locally” should be taken seriously.

2. Past and current clients.
JAC should insert some of their past customers/companies logo into the website to give jobseekers more confident about their services. These will not only encouraging more jobseekers to register with them, but to attract more business & clients.

3. Overseas office.
They should insert JAC overseas office contact details or office photos to boost user/employer confidents, hence attract more opportunities for overseas counterpart.

In short,

Overall, i feel quite comfortable while using their website. If you are looking for job out there, i will personally recommend JAC Recruitment Agency, not because i am promoting their business here, but because i have used their service some time back when i was still a jobseeker.

So the question is, how will they fully utilize this website to boost their business in future?
