Career Seminar @ Sunway College

I think I owe Sunway College students some photos which I’d promised to send it to them. Anyway, I was invited for a career seminar @ Sunway College last October. I know, it’s been ages, but I think I ought to publish some of the photos here so that they could safe keep some good memories we had in Sunway College.

Ninni is from Sunway college, so she’s my assistant of the day and also photographer of the day. (*grin*). She has always performed in every way which exceeds my expectation, she charms me with her perseverance and creativity! I have set myself some similar expectations towards the bunch of students that I am meeting that day. And yupp! They meet my expectation.

I’ve always love giving seminar to the private university. College students or private uni undergraduates behave just like college students in the movies minus the American football hunk and cheer leaders! Cheerful, out-spoken, daring, bubbly and youthful.

As usual, I get hype when I started talking

Topics which I’ve covered for this seminar would be my favorite, something that I could just talk non-stop about: current job market, employers expectations towards fresh graduates, building a powerful resume, going on a fearless interview, and of course some job hunting basics.

The career unit are being really thoughtful towards the students. Free seminar PLUS Free Lunch! They should appreciate the effort from their Uni trying to build all of their soon-to-be-graduates towards career success.

I still have some pictures which I will be uploading it to our facebook. As always, I’ve enjoyed all the moments with the students, their question, their willingness to learn, and their passion towards their future: makes me feel like going back to school.
