Help Team to assist all jobseekers
Posted February 14th, 2009 by SamanthaHave not been blogging consistantly. But I hope this post will bring alot more attention than the other post that I have wrote. Recently I have been swamped with jobs either from direct employers or from our head hunting service.
Due to the economic downturn, I strongly feel the pain of jobseeker. So many jobseekers that have came to us lost their job out of a sudden. Yesterday they are still happily working, happily chatting with colleagues during lunch, and the day after, they’ve lost their job leaving them in debts (housing loan, car loan and insurance to pay end of the month).
So many out there are despair, desperately needing a job. Every position we’ve posted now, there’s strong competition, yet some was not filled in because the employer wants to choose the best among the best. It is a talent war. What we could do would be to help all our might to keep recommending jobs to our jobseekers.
Please update your resumes, let usĀ know our current status. We’ve form a help team to consult as much jobseekers in our database (find out their area of expertise, which line of industry they are interested in, what jobs they are looking for, what salary they are looking at, which location they want to work in).
We still have unfilled vacancies, and very much I want to fill them up because when another position is being hired means we’re capable of providing food and a living for another jobseeker.
Of course, in the talent war, sometimes being choosy will worsen the situation. I urge all to open for all sorts of opportunities. Of course, we do not believe in forcing our jobseekers to go into jobs they don’t like, and it will never work. We believe in a win win situation.
I am opening up my email so that those who see some recent position they wish to apply to drop me their latest resume. For those who are not looking for a job, do spread the word to those who are looking for a job. Your words might enlighten them, and your recommendations might just help them in getting a job.
Drop me your resume stating what sort of jobs you are looking for, your expected salary, and your preferred location together with a recent photo to sam.chee[at]jobsbroadway.com (replace the [at] with @, this is to avoid spy bot spamming my email.) Or you can be our jobseeker by registering here
Everyone shall play a part in this crisis, only the strong and determine will survive the crisis wave, and I hope the strong and determine person will be you.
