Posted April 29th, 2009 by adminReferring to previous post, if we are now in the employers’ market, i am sure there will be more employers engaging recruitment agency to find better candidates. WHY?
i. Time effective.
Number of applicants has been increasing dramatically comparing to last year. Now, easily it can be over 1000 candidates applying for one good position. Obviously, it is too time consuming for employers to go through their resume one by one. So, employer will pass this “job” to recruitment agency.
ii. Save cost.
if previously employer need to pay salary of RM 4000 for a senior position, now they can save up their cost by offering only RM 3200 because they are still many jobseekers willing to take a pay cut instead of being jobless. Meaning to say, employers get to save at least RM 9600 (not including 13 months bonus) each year per new employee. How to find these jobseekers that willing to take a pay cut?
Employers are smart, they will ask recruitment agency to find. The best thing is, even after paying the service fee to recruitment agency, employer still able to save more than 50% of RM 9600.
iii. Quality and guarantee.
To get locate quality candidates require a lot of time especially with requirement of 8-10 years experience, willing to work in specific location, 5 years experience in specific field, with specific education qualification, able to speak specific language, etc. Where to find these candidates? leave it to recruitment agency.
PLUS: recruitment agencies give specific guarantee period to employer. if their candidate cease employment within the guarantee period, they will replace another candidate for free.

like BRITTANNIA INDUSTRIES Ltd and I.T.C Limited ( Biscuits division ) both giants in making best biscuits comparable to
global standards; Presently I was working in ZAMBIA as SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER in MUSA BISCUITS LTD and Prior to
MUSA BISCUITS LTD I have working experience in CHICCO Biscuits -ZAMBIA as PRODUCTION MANAGER

My accomplishments in Musa Biscuits
# ( 1 ) Prior to my joining Musa Biscuits,the biscuits produced were very hard in bite, and without any characteristic flavour.
After my joining to that company,with due consultation with M.D. ;all the receipies were completely changed / balanced /
as per sucrose/ flour ratio. And the biscuits produced now are, with better short bite,good / better taste.
# ( 2 ) I introduced ,active emulsifiers,in place of partially in-active emulsifiers ,that they had been using all along.
# ( 3 ) Even in Cream vareities, the basic flavour ratio compared to biscuit shells were changed, so that Cream Biscuits
produced now ,are with BETTER QUALITY & TASTE. Also Cream biscuits now with BETTER CONSUMER APPEAL.
# ( 4 ) Prior to my joining Musa, they were having a POOR OVEN PROFILE, after my joining ; with due approval of M. D. ,
a GOOD OVEN PROFILE was introduced, and now biscuits are with good BAKING / and enhanced FLAVOUR.
# ( 5 ) Suggestion given to change MACHINE - LAY OUT , so that
( a ) Wastages brought to minimum level,
( b ) Unnecessory worker movements/ unnecessory products handling avoided now.
# ( 6) Prior to my joining , they were using a flavour from India with LOW FLAVOUR / SOLVENT RATIO.
Sugesstion given to M.D to procure from another flavour supplier ; who is the BEST in the world of flavour.
# (7) Even in bites vareity , the complete recipies were modified / balanced and now bites produced are with better short bite and
better Taste.
# (8 ) After my joining Musa , due to modification of bites recipe exports sales to ZIMBABWE increased 300 times , compared to
Previous year.
# (9 ) Suggesstion given to adopt GMP and GHP all over the factory, Since I am very familer with I S O and H A C C P systems.
# (10) Even in 2 nd LAZOR plant , the installation was at fault, the MIXER . was away from the dough in infeed conveyor by 3 inches
in one side ; making good dough wastage . Sugesstion given to LAZOR personel , during their visit to rectify;
And it was duly done . Henceforth wastage of good dough was completely avoided NOW .
# (11) Even the flavour in all products / biscuits is enhanced now . with introduction of low cost sweet enhancer, and it was done by me.
